I tried to make a copy of a color photo, turning it to back and white. I tested it out on regular paper, and it works. As soon as I set the copier to "Premium Photo," and put photo paper in the printer, all that comes out are faint yellow lines on the page. What am I doing wrong or what is going on? Thank you!
It is an HP Officejet 5610
You don’t say what type of printer it is you are using which would make answering the question easier. However, I would suggest you check for your users manual which either came with the printer or was installed on your computer when you installed the software. It will tell you exactly how to copy photos using photo paper. If you are still having trouble resubmit your question and include the printer model you are using. Different brands have different settings and are setup different, without knowing the make of the printer it makes it pretty hard to guess and tell you what settings to change..
Good-luck.
Additional Info: Since it is an HP you definitely should have a user manual that installed on the pc. Check under start/programs/hp : it will show up there. You can also download the manual from hp.com. Click on support and drivers and select: See support and troubleshooting information and then select your printer: The next page will have a link to download the user manual: This will show you how to do what you want to do.
