HP Deskjet F340 All-In-One Printer Scanner Copier was wondering if the HP #58 photo ink cartrid?

I know that the numbers are on the boxes but what I need to know is whether or not you use the 58 cartridge with the 22 color cartridge at the same time? It seems like that you replace the black cartridge with the photo one to use for printing photos does that sound correct?

yes, the 58 and 22 go together. the 58 has a photo black ink in it, so you will still get black tones in your pictures. just don’t forget to switch the 58 out when printing text, or the black runs out super fast!

Put 58 in the color slot, not the B/W one

Yes that is correct. You DO put the photo ink cartridge in the black and white slot, not the colour one. The arrow for the photo cartridge points at the b/w slot.
