I have an 800 number, local number and fax number through a VOIP provider (RingCentral). To send a fax I have to scan each page and then attach each page to send it. I want to buy an all in one printer that has fax capabilities so I can fax all pages at once without having to scan each page. Is it possible to buy an all in one printer and have it work like a traditional fax machine but through VOIP services instead of a land line?

What you should do is check out efax.com, faxzero.com and faxwave.com These are services which let you send faxes through the internet. I have been using efax for years. It is completely free to receive and there is a small charge to send. I believe faxzero is free but sends ads with the faxes.

If your VOIP service is like the comcast VOIP service, where you have a modem that connects to say your comcast coaxial cable then connects to your phone line to send the phone signal out over your home phone lines to each individual phone. You fax machine will need to be connected to a phone line so send faxes just like a normal house phone connects to a phone line. If you VOIP setup allows you to connect a house phone up to a wall jack and use it as normal then faxing will too work.

VOIP is really not different than a land line. Telephone companies are using the Internet Protocol but are not telling the public. I use VOIP and send faxes without any problems. I use a Epson CX9400Fax, setting it up [ connections] was a little tricky but it works just fine. I believe all printers scan and then send. It sounds like you need a stand-alone fax machine which can be purchased cheaply.
Some/Most of these people do not know what they’re talking about.
