How do you get a meter reading from a copy machine???

My boss says there is some black strip somewhere, and I am clueless. It is a Konica 2223…a big copy office machine. Help!

Procedure: Taking a Meter Reading from the Copier:

1. Press the P then Stop/Clear buttons and hold both buttons down. The meter reading(s) will appear on the digital panel. Once reading(s) appear, you can release the buttons.
2. When you are done, press the Reset button.

Open the front of the machine, look around. There should be a number dial like th odometer on a car. Those numbers are the number of copies.

Some of them have counters. The Konica web site may have the user manual online. If not open the doors one at a time and look for it.
