My dad gave me a lexmark printer/scanner/copier/fax machine but i lost the cd to install so what do i do now?

Software for printers is usually free and a download from vendor. I suggest you do a search engine and enter lexmark and the product name or number of your machine. Odds are that the software you want is free for download. I have an HP printer and all the software is available that way, so I’m guessing it is for you as well. Good luck.

You can download the driver to print to the printer.
Then to use other functionality of the printer, they might not have it on the website. You need to install other programs to use functionality such as scanner. Try windows Live picture manager. It has built-in scanner functionality.

You should now what’s the model number of your printer first. Then search it in http://www.Lexmark.com you can find the needed driver for your specific model number and computer OS.
