One problem with old copy machines it left photos with white lines going down the image. With GIMP http://gimp.org/ (a free open source program), I hope to show a way to improve this. It is far from a perfect fix but helps.
In this video I use the Destripe, and Gaussian Blur filters to help improve the pictures.
