Adobe Acrobat files are the only documents I can’t print. Also, the printer is one of those Cannon copier machines that are on the network.

This may not help you, but it happened to me some time ago.
Adobe Acrobat (pdf) files are sent to your printer as graphics, not as a document.
Some older printers can’t handle graphics because the print file is either too large, or because ther are no "fonts" associated with the pdf file. It is treated as an image instead of a document.
So…
Can you print pictures on this printer?
(jpg files, bmp files, gif files, tif files)?

Besides Ebay, because I looked on there and I didn’t see anything. Thanks! Oh and does anybody know why these machines are so expensive?

Thermal Fax equipment is expensive because it is highly specialized.

Most do…But most charge also….No free lunch:)

Try getting the cartridges refilled, with my experience the black recycles perfectly, however I have problems with the colour, some of the colours don’t seem to work so I always buy new ones.

all of the sudden my printer/copier/fax machine prints out this huge black line on the side of the paper, how do i make this go away? It’s making it to where i can’t see the data printed!! help

What kind of machine Ink or Laser? If it is a laser change the toner cartridge. Does it make the line on copies? or prints? or both? Try running a cleaning cycle if it is a ink machine. Make sure the glass is clean if it makes lines when copying.
