My desk is unfortunately positioned right across from a copier, four fax machines and two gigantic printers (unbelievably enough, I am NOT exaggerating). I’ve always been concerned about whether or not this could have an affect on my health and recently, I found out that I’m pregnant. Now I’m more concerned than ever. Could this equipment, and most notably, their fumes, have any adverse affect on me and my baby?
I worked in a copy center when I first got pregnant with my daughter… I was around and working on/with 3 industrial sized copiers, a fax machine and 2 big printers.. and my daughter came out just fine 
Ask your doctor tho, if you are concerned.
Do I need to network the copier to the computers? How is that done? Do I need special parts? The copier does have a scan button.
Ok. I just read the 250 page manual, it does not say anything about scanning to a computer file!!
Find the manual.
Pick it up.

I have two Canon ImageClass copiers. I’ve cleaned the document feed rollers with vcr head cleaner (when these problems started), but nothing is working. One copier pulls in multiple pages; the other starts to pull in a page and sticks. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?
They need a good cleaning. Also, what happened to my printer was that the little wheel that grabs the paper had really tine ridges to grab the paper and when the ridges wore out, it could no longer grab the paper. At any rate, you should have someone else do it.
i have a copier/printer and its a canon MP620….
is it okay and safe to copy my hand?
like literally put my hand down on the copying glass and copy it on to a piece of paper?

Sure. Just make sure you wipe the glass afterward with a cloth
And also don’t press to hard on the glass when scanning.

I would like to do this without the use of a computer.I seem to remember that Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen did a quick demonstration once,using a photo copier.

I am wanting to get the HP 3 in 1 but was told they do not work well with the pc’s and u have to do something else to get the the fax to work. Is this true and what do I have to do to make the fax work. I have DSL .
Stick with the HP Lasers that are all in one and your problems won’t be there. Go with somethhing like the HP 3030 or 3015. The problem with the Lexmark, Epson and low line HP Inkjet all in ones has to do with the drivers competeing with other software loaded on your computer. The Brothers drivers don’t compete but the consumable cost will knock your head off. You’ll also need a very high quality paper in order to get the drum to last anywhere near what they say. The drums are designed poorly in the Brothers and collect the paperdust coming through the machine until they prematurely fail. The drums aren’t cheap either. Over $100.00 and the toner cartridges are separate.
